SLLLLOOOOOWWWW and steady.

So - it's been four long long long days.  The big projects for the week have been progress on the kitchen install and the master bedroom/ensuite painting.  Both have gone a bit slower than hoped, but the house has needed a little more prep than we thought as well....so patching, drywalling, sanding walls, moving electrical boxes, hauling things to the dump, the truck we borrowed to haul cabinets breaking down, etc... and doing so with two kids....have all taken time.

Here are some pictures of the kitchen when we got the keys back on Monday.

They all came out super easy and fast (says the one who watched) and God totally blessed us in selling them to a lady who promptly hauled them away the day after they were taken out.  SO happy to not have to store those at all.
We then prepped and painted around the uppers before Aaron started hanging to make my life a little easier after they're up.  The computer does the color absolutely no justice but I am super excited about it. LOVE it.   (Note the missing swedish meatball fixture that sadly sadly SADLY was broken in the construction. ... :) )
The Master bedroom and ensuite were  a bright gold yellow.
The doors, closet doors, door frames, trim, baseboards, and metal window frames were ALSO painted bright yellow gold.  nice.  (and yes, the seashell is staying.)

But that's it for now.  Things have changed a bit over the week-end but haven't got to taking pictures yet...
